Rustic is normally not considered cool. It is usually left at the side of the road for the garbage man to take away but this new rustic furniture will not be finding it’s way to the curb; industrial in styling but chic and perfect for a modern home.

Thomas Bina is the Eco-conscious designer behind these amazing products. He works with reclaimed and responsibility harvested woods and raw metals. He has a great eye for design and a very creative imagination. We fell for his designs the minute we saw them. Here are a few of the pieces in the collection.

Happy Labour Day weekend!!! Schreiter’s is closed Sunday September 5, Monday September 6 and Tuesday September 7 for the long weekend. We are open Saturday September 4 from 10 to 5pm. Have a great long weekend.

Vintage and unique furniture pieces are filling up our attic quickly. With a little creativity, maybe some spray paint or some new fabric will gives these fabulous, gently used pieces a fresh look; even left as is will make a statement. These are all going for a steal and just waiting for a new home.

Furniture delights us! As do all aspects of interior decorating. Our team of decorators is capable of so much more than just furnishing a space. We love the process of getting to know our client’s, listening to their needs and desires and from there helping them create their ideal space, just for them. Seeing projects evolve is a rewarding experience and our goal is to make it as easy and as stress free as possible. Seeing the completion of a project is a joyous event, something we want to share with everyone. So after month of renovations, I’m excited to finally share a large project: the renovation of a client’s master bathroom.

Here is the master bathroom at the beginning of the project. The room was stripped down to the 2 x4′s, new drywall was put up and the room evolved from there.

The goal was to create a modern master bathroom that appealed to the senses and felt soothing, a little get away. Since blue is a calming colour it was the right choice for the walls. The wall colour is Palladian Blue HC-144 by Benjamin Moore. The client’s prefer to have double sinks so a custom vanity was design by myself and built by Speke Klein.
Large 20×2″ Luminor tiles by Casa Roma in a Grigio where used for the shower walls and the flooring. Large titles were chosen for their easy of cleaning and the clean contemporary look they offer. The counter top is natural quartz, made by Cambria from their Classic Collection in Snow White.
With the proper selection of materials and finishes, it is easy to achieve the right look and feel for all types of spaces. Let us help you create the space of your dreams!
